  • One of the quickest cures for heartburn is to mix 1/2-teaspoon baking soda to 4 ounces of water. Drink the entire mixture. Be aware that this will cause you to belch profusely so you might want to drink it in private so you do not embarrass yourself. It does work and it works well.

  • There are many claims that heartburn is actually caused by the lack of acid in the stomach. Therefore, apple-cider vinegar is said to be one of the best natural cures for heartburn.
